Comedy City will launch on Friday 29th September 2006. It will be the first weekly comedy night held in east Manchester. It will also be Manchester's first weekly, completely non-smoking venue. Comedy City will provide a variety of very funny stand-up comedians in a relaxing atmosphere in the Reebok City Social club at Sport City. Easy to reach and huge amounts of free on site parking for those who choose to drive.

Comedy City is also running free comedy courses for east Manchester residents which begin on 3rd October. The stand-up comedy circuit is one of the very few places, where you can be accept for your talent alone. Most other areas of entertainment require a degree of who you know as well as what you know, comedy doesn't, so Comedy City is spreading the good word of comedy.
